Stop blockbuster app from updating
In mature mobile operating systems like Android and i OS, notifications that are available from a central notification center alert you when apps are automatically updated. That way you can see what happened on your device and check out an updated app to see what's changed. I suspect that Microsoft will eventually add a notification center to Windows (and Phone).
App updates within the Google Play Store are a fact of life for Android users – but it doesn’t have to be that way.If you are at an office or shared network, you can ask the network administrator to run a scan across the network looking for misconfigured or infected devices.Whether we like it or not, our social media apps, games and e-mail tools are always being tinkered with by the people that wrote them.If you are a site administrator and have been accidentally locked out, please enter your email in the box below and click "Send".If the email address you enter belongs to a known site administrator or someone set to receive Wordfence alerts, we will send you an email to help you regain access.
Which is a good thing: Most users will probably prefer this behavior, safe in the knowledge that their apps will always be up-to-date, with no requirement on their part. Since Windows 8.1—like Windows Phone, by the way—doesn't have a notification center, there's also no indication that anything has changed.
